I have been a mixed-media artist for 54 years.  Since I was in my teens I created collage art and assemblage shadowbox art.  I also worked with clay, fused glass and stain glass.  That led into making small clay and fused glass pieces that I used for mosaic and collage art.  I made table tops and wall hangings with the handmade pieces and created a story for each mosaic piece.  I always kept the theme of uplifting consciousness and connecting with nature.  When the pandemic started I evolved into painting.  I created over 100 paintings in a year.  I found a new medium in art to express my message and I haven't stopped painting.  My work has been shown in many galleries and art festivals.  Some of the galleries are Orlando Museum of Art, Orlando Jazz Festival, St.Augustine Art Center, New Symrna Beach Art Center, Junk Art Gallery, St. Pete Artworks, Morean Art Center, Art Lofts, Florida Craft Art, Mango Art Gallery, Warehouse Art District in St.Pete, So ho South, Faceit Gallery in Gulfport fl. and many more galleries and art shows in Florida. Presently I am the owner of Kay Keeings Art Zone in Bellair Bluffs, Fl.  This is where I show and create my work.  My art is my medicine and language.  I feel my art shows the soulful side to life.  I hope the positive feeling and joy I feel when I create will project out to others and help others feel the truth of life. Lots of light, Kay Keeling
